- New Ontario Plants brand reflects company’s renewed focus on delivering high-quality young plants with top-class customer service
- 13-acre Glencoe greenhouse facility opens this week and features the latest advances in growing techniques, biosecurity and sustainability
St Thomas, Ontario, Canada – Monday 7 October 2024: Ontario Plants, North America’s leading producer of young plants for greenhouse growers, announces the launch of its new brand and visual identity to reflect the evolution of the company.
The new Ontario Plants logo and visual identity is inspired by the Fibonacci sequence - a mathematical sequence found in nature, including in strawberries and other plants, where each number is the sum of the previous two numbers.
Mathieu van de Sande, CEO of Ontario Plants, said:
“Our rebrand is more than a new logo and colour scheme – it captures how we’ve evolved at Ontario Plants to have a laser-like focus on quality, customer service and innovation. With our new 13-acre facility opening this week at Glencoe, we can now deliver high-quality, productive young plants to customers from two high-tech greenhouses in Ontario.”
The new Glencoe greenhouse facility features the latest developments in biosecurity, including new hygiene equipment, strict protocols and pest control methods. A 45 million liter water retention pond will capture, recycle and reuse more than 90% of rainwater from the greenhouse roofs and a six acre rooftop solar scheme is planned for the loading and office areas.
Ontario Plants also operates a 36-acre high-tech greenhouse facility at St Thomas in Ontario which features many of the innovations present at Glencoe.
